Was first designed in the late 1970s

Tissot, "Innovator by tradition," has always managed to interpret time-honored designs correctly. In the late 1970s, a series of Tissot watches came on the market with integrated bracelets and newly developed quartz movements. Because they were so thin, a narrow case was sufficient. 

A remarkably modern watch

The PRX 40 205 reinterprets the historic model with the modern design accents of an elegant sports watch. This remarkable timepiece has a very high-quality finish.

A rounded bezel

The bezel of the PRX 40 205 is thin, round and carefully polished, defining the design as much as the case and bracelet. It is a striking, perfect circle at the heart of a watch that is actually oval.

Within it, Tissot has applied dials with sophisticated textures, which are, for example, sun-brushed or vertically brushed. They mirror the finish of the case and bracelet.

A flared case

The case of the PRX 40 205 widens near the bracelet to better integrate it. This integrated design has no legs and rests on a straight case edge that flows seamlessly into the first link of the bracelet.

The PRX 40 205 has a very narrow feel to it. This effect is enhanced by the fact that the hands are closer together and to the upper glass.

A striking bracelet

The wide, matte and narrowing links give the PRX 40 205 bracelet a unique look. The satin-finished exterior matches the polished parts on the inside.

Quartz or Automatic

The PRX collection includes a quartz and an automatic model. The latter is equipped with optimizing components, such as the Nivachron balance spring that guarantees excellent antimagnetic performance. This gives the PRX Powermatic 80 a power reserve of up to 80 hours. The beating heart of the watch can be admired through the transparent back cover.

The PRX collection adds sophisticated models with satin-finished steel cases and 18K solid rose gold bezels. They are powered by the powerful Powermatic 80 movement, which combines an antimagnetic silicone spring with a power reserve of 80 hours.
